– Seljalandsfoss Waterfall
The waterfall drops 60 m and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull. Visitors can walk behind the falls into a small cave.
– Skógafoss Waterfall
The Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 15 metres and a drop of 60 m. Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days.
– Sólheimajökull Glacier
Sólheimajökull is part of the glacier in the south of Mýrdalsjökull. It is 8-11 km long and 1-2 km wide. From the Jökulsá glacier, it reaches Sólheimasandi, whose name was Fúlakvísl because of sulfur fuel.
– Black Sand Beach Reynisfjara
Reynisfjara is a world-famous black sand beach on the south coast of Iceland, right next to the small village of Vík í Mýrdal.
Thanks to huge basalt piles, roaring Atlantic waves and stunning panoramas, Reynisfjara is one of 10 unusual beaches in the world.
